The Data Ecologies Lab researches scientific spaces, practices and use of data. Through data science ethnography and other digital ethnographic methods, we aim to explore how the norms of science are adapting to the era of “Big Data”. By undertaking this work, we work to understand how collaborations in not just science, but many other spaces, function and adapt to changing norms.
